Abstract
(Deutsch)
Abstract
(Englisch)
This thesis covers a specific part of Harald Holz’ lifework. It deals with the question of how spiritualism and science, or idealism and materialism, respectively, can be merged through trancendental philosopy and which consequences for human existence arise from this process. In present times, it is obvious that those two ideologies are responsible for the torn worldview, which is characteristic of Western societies. Materialism and idealism, or atheism and spiritualism, respectively, are the building blocks of he torn worldview, which are in competition over the meaning of life. This thesis examins, if and to what extent Holz succeeds in reconciling the two ideologies on a theoretical level. Furthermore, a systematical and philosophical-historical analysis of the various facettes of the term of ,absolutism’ is conducted. In order to dissect Holz’ question and path of thinking in its full depth, the thesis includes several philosophical topics: theoretical philosophy, philosophy of nature, philosophical anthropology. As is obvious from the title, one focus of the thesis is cosmology. This is because Holz’ metaphysics of the universe and nature influences the establishment of an alternative concept of human existence to a large extent; a new understanding of being roots in this concept.
Based on this the structure of this thesis is to be understood: because natural- philosophical and anthropological conclusions are deducted from the core of Holz’ theoretical philosophy, the disquisition begins with analysing it. The second chapter comprises a short story about the evolution of the universe; this chapter mainly deals with physical facts and aims at getting the reader onto a level of cosmological knowledge, which allows to better understand Holz’ reflections. The third chapter analyses extensively the basic concept of Holz’ cosmology and the transcendental core of his nature philosophy; the conclusions of the first chapter are indispensable of understanding this chapter. At the end of the third chapter, fundamental insights into an objective intelligence of nature will have been acquired, which is immanent to the cosmos. Said objective intelligence of nature takes up the structure-functional role of a transcendent deity in Holz’ systematics, which was considered the first principle of the world by the metaphysical tradition. Those innovative insights are followed up in the last chapter with regards to their existential-theoretical implications by analysing the relation between cosmic and human absolutism. In this connection, a metaphysically secularised sensory dimension of human existence becomes obvious, which culminates in the humanity’s emergence as a deity. The agenda of immanentisation of divineness’ attributes followed by Holz, which peaks in the idea of a Fundamentalhumanism which is based on love and allows to look at human existence from a different point of view, thus constitutes the existential-theoretical close of the analysis.
