In dieser Diplomarbeit wird untersucht, inwiefern die Spielfeinfühligkeit von Erziehern/Erzieherinnen als ein zentraler Bestandteil des Entstehens einer Bindungsbeziehung zwischen Erzieher/in und Kind verstanden werden kann. Dazu werden Vergleiche auf unterschiedlichen Ebene gezogen anhand der Darstellung der Mutter-Kind-Bindung, der Vater-Kind-Bindung und der Erzieher/innen-Kind-Bindung. Anschließend folgt eine methodenkritische Reflexion der Forschungsinstrumente, welche zur Erhebung der einzelnen Bindungsbeziehungen eingesetzt werden. Im dritten Teil erfolgt eine praktische Erprobung des Forschungsinstrumentes SCIP-Skala anhand eines videografierten Einzelfalls aus der WiKi-Studie.

The core topic of this diploma thesis is based on the attachment relationship of a toddler to it’s child-care provider. The main goal of this paper is to find out whether play sensitivity, which is defined as the ‚Sensitive and Challenging Play‘ of a child’s attachment figure, can expand the reach of John Bowlby’s Theory of Attachment, specifically the knowledge of the emotional attachment relationship of a day-care enrolled toddler to it’s care provider. Furthermore this thesis questions whether the ‚Sensitive and Challenging Interactive Play Scale‘ (abbr.: SCIP-Scale) can be used as another strategy for reasearchers to discover more about the attatchment relationship between the toddler and the child-care provider. With reference to the preliminary findings of the empirical analysis, the thesis uses the SCIP-Scale to gather information on an observed toddler-care provider attachment relationship. This is done by analysing carefully chosen sequences of interactive play taken from the ‚Wiener Kinderkrippen Studie‘s‘ (abbr.: WiKi-study) video footage. The main goal of this part of the study is to find out more about the child to care provider attachment relationship in the context of the adult‘s play sensitivity. The results of this study show that the SCIP-Scale focuses on a precisely defined behaviour of the care provider who is in contact with the care center enrolled toddler. The SCIP-Scale can therefore provide information about the care provider’s play sensitivity. As opposed to this the AQS-E cannot provide such precise information as it covers a wide range of relevant attachment criteria without focusing on particular factors in detail. Instead it can provide information on the security of a toddler’s attachment relationship by rating it’s observed behavior on the basis of an index containing a broad range of different items. In this diploma thesis data collected with the AQS are compared to those gathered from the SCIP-Scale to find out more about both instruments.
