In dieser Arbeit nimmt die Exklusionsthematik in Verbindung mit der „Sozialen Frage“ aus sozialpädagogischer Perspektive einen besonderen Stellenwert ein, weil damit die Kompetenzen des Individuums und die Chancenstruktur der Gesellschaft zusammenhängen. Im Sinne von „Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe“ streben sozialpädagogische Denk- und Handlungsformen im weitesten Sinne personverändernde Wirkungen an und wollen den Menschen zur Kompetenz führen, sich eigene Ziele zu setzen. Am Beispiel des ökonomischen Armutsbekämpfungsmittels „Mikrokredit“ versucht diese Arbeit die pädagogische Idee der Befähigung zum Handeln darzustellen, welche aber nicht nur auf die Veränderung des Individuums abzielen, sondern auch die Umgestaltung gesellschaftlicher Verhältnisse im Auge behalten soll. Dazu werden die ideengeschichtlichen Grundlagen der Sozialpädagogik herangezogen und und dem Gedanken der „Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe“ bei PESTALOZZI, NATORP und NOHL nachgegangen. Within this thesis, the topic of exclusion in conjunction with social issues as seen from a socio-pedagogical perspective is of particular importance, because it is closely linked with the competences of the individual and the structure of chances of society. In the sense of „helping people to help themselves“, socio-pedagogical forms of thought and action aspire effects that change people and enable them to set goals for themselves.
Using the example of microcredit, an economic way to fight poverty, this thesis aims at portraying the pedagogical notion of empowerment to act, which should not only aim at changing the individual but should also keep the transformation of societal relations in mind. For this purpose, the thesis borrows bases in terms of the history of ideas of social pedagogy and pursues the notion of helping people to help themselves in the works of PESTALOZZI, NATORP and NOHL.
