Die Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Kino von Mahamat-Saleh Haroun. Der durch seine letzten Spielfilme international bekannt gewordene tschadische Regisseur war bereits auf den Filmfestivals von Venedig und Cannes und konnte dort wichtige Preise gewinnen. Die Arbeit stellt neben dem Kontext des afrikanischen Kinos und des Tschad zwei Filme von Haroun vor: Daratt (2006) und Un homme qui crie (2010). Im Anschluss an eine allgemeine Analyse werden beide Filme in einer Detailanalyse im Hinblick auf die Frage der moralischen Schuld beleuchtet.
Abstract

This paper is about the cinema of Chadian film director Mahamat-Saleh Haroun. He gained international attention through his last works and could carry off several prizes, especially at the film festivals of Venice and Cannes. Besides the context of the African cinemas and Chad, this work presents two films of Haroun: Daratt (2006) and Un homme qui crie (2010). The films are regarded in a global analysis as well as a detailed analysis treating the topic of moral guilt.
