Anhand ausgewählter Sammlungen von Volksliedern (Hochzeits-, Umzugs-, Arbeits-, Liebesliedern), die vorwiegend aus dem 18. und 19. Jahrhundert stammen, werden Fragmente urslawischer heidnischer sakraler Poesie in slowakischem Lied- und Erzählgut gesucht und nachgewiesen. Ausgegangen wird vom methodischen Ansatz der Rekonstruktion urslawischer heidnischer sakraler Dichtung der russischen Philologen Vladimir Nikolaevič Toporov und Vjačeslav Vsevolodovič Ivanov. Sie haben in slawischen Folklore-Texten auf urslawische heidnische sakrale Texte zurückgehende Bruchstücke identifiziert, die in zweiter Linie dann auch Rückschlüsse auf die Glaubensvorstellungen der heidnischen Slawen erlauben. Radoslav Katičić hat nach dieser Methode die Rekonstruktion beträchtlich ausgebaut. Der Autor wendet dieses Verfahren auf slowakisches Material an. Professor Katičićs Synthesen dienen dabei als Leitfaden. Diese Arbeit befasst sich nicht mit der Rekonstruktion von Mythen und Mythologie, sondern mit der Rekonstruktion vorchristlicher slawischer ritueller Poesie im slowakischen Kulturbereich. Das untersuchte Material beinhaltet Fragmente ritueller Poesie, die über Jahrhunderte in der mündlichen Literatur slawischer Volkssprachen erhalten blieb bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, als sie verschriftet und später im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert gesammelt, sortiert und systematisiert wurden. Anhand so genanter Schlüsselwortverbindungen bzw. Reime wird in vierzehn thematischen Kapiteln ausgewähltes slowakisches Volksliedgut analysiert und Reste slawischer ritueller Poesie belegt.

Using selected collections of folklore songs (wedding, work, love songs and others), dating mainly back to the 18th and 19th Century, this thesis seeks fragments of protoslavic pagan sacred poetry in Slovak song and narrative material. The methodology for the reconstruction of protoslavic pagan sacred text fragments in folklore material was first used by the Russian philologists Vladimir Nikolaevič Toporov and Vjačeslav Vsevolodovič Ivanov. In Slavic folklore texts they identified these fragments of pagan scred poetry, which secondarily allows to draw conclusions on the religion of the pagan Slavs. Radoslav Katičić expanded this method of reconstruction significantly. The author of this thesis applies this method on Slovak material. Professor Katičićs synthesis serve as a guidelines. However, this work does not deal with the reconstruction of myths and mythology, but with the reconstruction of pre-Christian Slavic ritual poetry in Slovak culture using the reconstructions of Radoslav Katičić. The examined material includes fragments of ritual poetry that survived for centuries in the oral Slavic literature in the national languages, until the time when they were transliterated and later in the 18th and 19th Century collected, sorted and systematized. Using the so called key phrases or rhymes this thesis offers fourteen thematic chapters of selected Slovak folk songs, which are being analysed on residues of Slavic ritual poetry.
