Diese Studie untersucht die Effekte eines Robotertrainings auf das Emotionsverständnis von Vorschulkindern. 52 Vorschulkinder wurden auf zwei Gruppen aufgeteilt: Die Versuchsgruppe nahm für sechs Wochen am Robotertraining teil, die Kontrollgruppe erhielt keinerlei Training. Während der Prä- und Posttestung wurde das Emotionsverständnis erhoben. Es zeigten sich keine Effekte des Robotertrainings auf das Emotionsverständnis. Mögliche Erklärungen und Limitationen werden aufgezeigt und diskutiert.

This study investigated the possibility to teach children emotion understanding by taking part in a robotic training, which was supposed to train the executive functions. Therefore 52 preschool children were divided into two groups: The experimental group participated for six weeks in the robotic training, the control group received no treatment. During the pre- and posttest phase the emotion understanding was tested. Results showed no significant difference between the two groups. The emotion understanding remained stable and was not affected by the robotic training. Possible explanations and implications are discussed.
