Abstract
(Deutsch)
Abstract

In the field of work of setting standards for photovoltaic solar panels testing procedures are a main topic for investigating influencing effects on the modules durability. For many of this testing procedures simulation of working conditions is of importance. Simulation of working conditions in the lab has the big advantage that experiments can be done under controlled conditions whereas in the fields its almost impossible to get same conditions at different times to compare testing results. Without the possibility of controlled working conditions it's hard to analyze the yielded measurement data with respect to effects of definite disturbances. So therefore simulation of working conditions is a big aid in analyzing dependencies of photovoltaic modules on environmental conditions as well as technical failures. In this thesis an experimental setup for testing curve behavior of photovoltaic arrays which include defect modules is presented. Therefore a Power Hardware In the Loop RealTime simulation is used to simulate the proper modules of a single photovoltaic string whereas defect modules are implemented in the circuit as real hardware components. For string simulation a software-hardware combination is used composed of a Matlab Simulink model of the string and a voltage controlled current source . The capability of the setup with respect to simulate the current-voltage characteristics of modules and strings is shown. Further some comparative current-voltage characteristics and thermography of the investigated modules front side under various operating conditions are shown.
