Abstract
(Deutsch)
Abstract
(Englisch)
The current thesis with the title „Roberto Saviano e la sua attività da opinionista” deals with the analysis of the journalistic articles of the young Neapolitan author Roberto Saviano, published in the periodical “l´Espresso”, after the publication of his best-seller “Gomorra - viaggio nell´impero economico e sogno di dominio della camorra” in 2006. The theoretical framework for text analysis of Klaus Brinker, a German linguist, serves primarily as the basis of my analysis, in addition to the concepts of two Italian linguists, Massimo Palermo and Cecilia Andorno. The thesis is divided into three major parts: The first part is a presentation of text linguistics that is the history of the discipline, the structure of a text and the elements which guarantee continuity in a text and his function. In the second part the focus is on the linguistic analysis of the articles with regard to their contest, function, coherence, cohesion, linguistic characteristics and their critical value. The third discusses two present issues concerning Naples - organized crime and the waste crisis. The conclusion summarizes the most important aspects of the journalistic activity of Saviano which were raised by the analysis.
