Abstract
(Deutsch)
Abstract
(Englisch)
Global shifts of demographic, sociological and economic development require new pat-terns of thought, perception and action. Constructivism, from the psychology of learning, comes from a construction of knowledge by the learner, in which previous experiences, moral values and actions play a crucial role (Foerster, 1997). Deduced from theories of education and motivation, the assumption of available self-care and self-representation of learning also captures the influences of the socio-cultural environment suggested from external stimuli through systematic and dy-namic approaches (Tischler, 2013). The new professional qualifications demanded by the job market include the complex conception of “lifelong learning” (LBL), through its requirement of competencies like self-organization (Müller-Oppliger, 2011, 2012). If the development of lifelong learning processes is seen as the task of education, then school pedagogy occupies a position of mediation which needs to do justice to the de-mands of the students through self-determination and self-creation, as well as to the socio-economic demand for preservation of social well-being. To that end, able and motivated teachers are indispensable, who are able to adequately communicate the essential competencies and who know how to be responsive to individual abilities and developmen-tal potentials (Neumayer, 2008). In order to meet the economic demands of quality, the cooperation between the school systems, education policy and businesses must succeed, so that educational tasks on all fronts can be re-organized and newly addressed (Voß, 1997). A “paradigmatic meaning” is ascribed to psychomotricity if it is concerned with a systemat-ic-constructivist understanding of development and learning based on a holistic picture of humans (Michaelis 2003; zit.n. Fischer, 2009, S. 11). The reciprocal influence of move-ment, emotion and cognition construct a foundation for an understanding of psychomotor-ically oriented, pedagogical work (Voglsinger, 2015). Through the lens of systems theory, the themes treated in this work lead to the insight that within the debate concerning lifelong learning processes, psychomotoric orientation is deep-seated and therefore should find acceptance as an integral part within the system of learning in the schools themselves.
