Der rechtliche Rahmen des europäischen Rechtsfeld Asyl basiert auf der Genfer Flüchtlingskonvention von 1951 und dem 'Common European Asylum System' (Gemeinsames Europäisches Asylsystem). Die Durchführung und Entscheidung von Asylverfahren wird auf nationalen Ebenen durchgeführt. Die Verflechtung unterschiedlicher rechtlicher Ebenen führt zu unterschiedlicher Implementation von Asylrecht zwischen den Mitgliedsstaaten der EU. Durch das Gemeinsame Europäische Asylsystem soll das Asylwesen vereinheitlicht werden, um Geflüchteten und Schutzsuchenden gleiche Rechte und gleiche Verfahren in allen Mitgliedsstaaten garantieren zu können, in welchen ihre Verfahren zu den gleichen Entscheidungen führen sollen, unabhängig davon, wo es durchgeführt wird. In dieser Masterarbeit werden Entscheidungsquoten von Asylverfahren in vier ausgewählten EU-Staaten zwischen 2008 un 2018 miteinander verglichen und analysiert. Unterschiede in diesen Quoten deuten auf variierende Anwendung des Rechtsrahmens hin. Eine Standardisierung von Asylverfahren auf der Mikroebene kann nicht nachgewiesen werden.

The Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees of 1951 (Refugee Convention) and the 'Common European Asylum System' (CEAS) which will be introduced essentially shape the contemporary legal framework of asylum policies within the European Union (EU) member states. The execution of asylum procedures is performed by domestic authorities on the national level. Penetrating the international, European and local legal levels, the implementation of these international law texts differs between nation states. The CEAS aims at the standardisation of the asylum field to grant refugees equal procedures with similar decision outcomes upon their individual cases in all member states. The thesis compares and analyses the rates of positive decisions in four selected member states between 2008 and 2018, and shows that variations in positive decision rates appear to indicate modifications in the implementation of this part of international law. While a continuous standardisation of asylum procedures cannot be observed at the micro-level, the rising influence of national interests are indicated.
