Abstract
(Deutsch)
Abstract
(Englisch)
The following Master‘s Thesis deals with different communication models from an interpretativ social science perspective. It especially focuses and emphasizes the interpersonal communication as well as its tension with the social construction of reality in and through communication.
Based on a precise literature analysis the communication models were systematized. Therefore the question to which extend existing models are suitable for depicting the social construction of reality within interpersonal communication was fundamental. The systematization follows a line of developement starting from the linear transmission model of information theory by Shannon/Weaver (1949) moving forward to a symbolic-interpretative-model, which was presented by Koszyk/Pruys in 1969. Focusing on the level of a semantic component, a transition to socialogical models based on Habermas (1981), Mead (1934) and Berger/Luckmann (1966) can be identified.
The systematization aims to enable a strengths and weaknesses anlysis to the question asked. As a result of the systematization, criteria for the modelbuilding of a new communication model, which is suitable to depict the process of the construction of social reality within interpersonal communication were formulated.
