Dieses Dissertationsprojekt untersucht die Frage der Integration von Gläubigen der Kroatischen Katholischen Mission in Wien unter drei Dimensionen: soziale, innerkirchliche und religiöse Integration, wie auch die Frage wie die pastorale Praxis der Kroatischen Katholischen Mission in Wien in Bezug auf diese drei Dimensionen der Integration verbessert werden kann. Die Kroatische Katholische Mission ist eine Pfarrgemeinde, die hauptsächlich kroatische Gläubige zusammenbringt, die in Österreich oder der Stadt Wien leben. Ihre Glaubenspraxis unterscheidet sich durch ihren starken traditionellen Charakter von anderen Kirchengemeinden der Stadt Wien, einer multikulturellen Stadt mit vielen Optionen, was sich auch im religiösen Leben widerspiegelt. Aus methodischer Sicht folgt diese Arbeit dem Ansatz von Paul Michael Zulehner und gliedert sich in die drei Teile: Kriteriologie, Kairologie und Praxeologie. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit, Kriteriologie, werden die Themen Integration und Migration durch das Prisma der soziologischen Wissenschaften, der Theologie und zahlreicher kirchlicher Dokumente betrachtet, die sich mit diesen Themen befassen. Diese Literatur legt gewisse Kriterien fest, an denen sich die Dissertation orientiert. Der zweite Teil der Arbeit, Kairologie, befasst sich mit der aktuellen und realen Situation in der Praxis. In diesem Teil der Arbeit werden nämlich empirische Daten mit der Methode der Grounded Theory analysiert. Erarbeitet wird, was die Gläubigen, Mitglieder der kroatischen katholischen Mission in Wien sagen, über ihre Integration in die Wiener Gesellschaft, in der sie leben und arbeiten, über die kroatische katholische Mission und ihre Rolle in dem Integrationsprozess in der Erzdiözese Wien und wie sie sich selbst und ihren Glauben in dieser "neuen" Gesellschaft sehen, die anders ist als die, aus der sie stammen. Die Interviewpartner wurden daher als aktive Teilnehmer an der kirchlichen pastoralen Praxis verstanden und ihre Antworten als solche als Kriterium für die zukünftige Verbesserung der pastoralen Praxis oder der Praxeologie herangezogen. Daher stellen die empirischen Daten hier tatsächlich eine gewisse Überschneidung von Kriteriologie und Kairologie dar. Der dritte Teil der Arbeit, Praxeologie, ist der Teil, der die Forschungsfrage beantwortet: "Wie kann die pastorale Praxis der Kroatischen Katholischen Mission in Wien im Hinblick auf die drei Dimensionen der Integration verbessert werden?" In diesem Sinne werden einige pastorale Vorschläge präsentiert, die zur Verbesserung der zukünftigen pastoralen Praxis der Kroatischen Katholischen Mission in Wien beitragen können. Zusammenfassend reflektiert das Schlusskapitel das Thema Integration und die Ergebnisse der empirischen Forschung und betont noch einmal, dass Integration keine Einbahnstraße ist, weshalb nicht alle Verantwortung auf die Kroatische Katholische Mission in Wien abgewälzt werden kann, sondern, notwendig ist nach einem bestimmten "We" (Wir) zu suchen, im Gegensatz zur Dichotomie "Ours and Yours" (Unsere und Eure).

This paper explores the issue of integration of believers of the Croatian Catholic Mission in Vienna under three dimensions: social, Church, and faith integration, and the question how to improve the pastoral practice of the Croatian Catholic Mission in Vienna concerning these three dimensions of integration. The Croatian Catholic Mission is a parish community that brings together mostly Croatian believers living in Austria, or, more specifically, in Vienna. Their way of practicing faith differs from other parishes in Vienna in its strong traditional character. Vienna is a multicultural city that offers many options, and this is also reflected in the religious life, where faith is an option among many other. From a methodological point of view, this paper follows the approach of Paul Michael Zulehner and is divided into three parts: Criteriology, Cairology, and Praxeology. In the first part of the paper, Criteriology, the issues of integration and migration are observed through the prism of sociological sciences, theology, and numerous Church documents that study these topics. This literature sets out, so to speak, certain criteria which should be followed. The second part of the paper, Cairology, deals with the current and real situation in practice. Namely, in this part of the paper, empirical data are analyzed using the Grounded Theory method. Also, very important and interesting in this paper is that it emphasizes what the believers, members of the Croatian Catholic Mission in Vienna say 1. about their integration within the Vienna society in which they live and work; 2. their opinion on the Croatian Catholic Mission and its role in the integration process within the Archdiocese of Vienna; 3. and how they view themselves and their faith within this "new" society that is different from the one they come from. Interview partners were therefore understood as active participants within the Church´s pastoral care, and as such, their responses were taken as a criterion for the future improvement of pastoral practice, or Praxeology. Therefore, the empirical data here actually represent a certain overlap of Criteriology and Cairology. The third part of the paper, Praxeology, is the part that answers the research question: "How can the pastoral practice of the Croatian Catholic Mission in Vienna be improved regarding the three dimensions of integration?". In this sense, several pastoral proposals are presented which can contribute to the improvement of the future pastoral practice of the Croatian Catholic Mission in Vienna. Finally, the concluding chapter reflects jet again on the issue of integration and summarizes the results of empirical research, emphasizing once again that integration is a two-way street, which is why all responsibility cannot be shifted to the Croatian Catholic Mission in Vienna, but it is necessary to look for a certain "We" as opposed to the dichotomy "Ours and Yours".
