Die Masterarbeit soll eine Analyse des digitalen normativen Systems innerhalb der Vereinten Nationen liefern. Genauer gesagt soll die Arbeit, indem sie sich auf das spezifische Modell stützt, eine Erklärung dafür liefern, wie das vorherige normative System, das sogenannte analoge oder vordigitale, in das neue System umgewandelt wurde und wie neu entstandene Normen mit den vorherigen verknüpft sind. Mit dem Ziel, eine Antwort auf die oben genannte Forschungsfrage zu geben, führt die Arbeit eine qualitative deskriptive Analyse der spezifischen Dokumente durch, die von den Vereinten Nationen herausgegeben wurden. Nachdem dies getan wurde, zeigt die Arbeit, dass die Normen des digitalen normativen Systems digitale Versionen der vorherigen Normen sind, die durch strukturelle und agenturorientierte Faktoren umgewandelt wurden.

The Master’s Thesis seeks to provide an analysis of the digital normative system within the United Nations. Namely, by relying on the specific model, the thesis aims to provide an explanation of how the previous normative system, the so-called analog or predigital, has been transformed into the new one and how newly emerged norms are linked to the previous ones. With the aim of providing an answer to the aforementioned research question, the thesis conducts a qualitative descriptive analysis of the specific documents issued by the United Nations. Having done the former, the thesis demonstrates that the norms of the digital normative system are remodeled digital versions of the previous meta-analog norms that have been transformed by structural and agency-oriented factors.
