Das Anliegen der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die Rolle des (neoliberalen) Staates in der aktuellen Krise der sozialen Reproduktion zu beleuchten. Dabei wird untersucht, inwiefern sich im wissenschaftlichen Diskurs zu dieser aktuellen Krise Verständnisse dieser Rolle identifizieren lassen, die blinde Flecken oder Unter-Thematisierungen der feministischen Staatstheorie aufzeigen. Daher wird in dieser Arbeit eine Analyse des wissenschaftlichen Diskurses zur Krise der sozialen Reproduktion durchgeführt, um die Forschungsfrage „Wie wird der Staat im wissenschaftlichen Diskurs zur Krise der sozialen Reproduktion thematisiert? Inwiefern kann dieses Staatsverständnis mit der feministisch-materialistischen Staatstheorie erklärt werden?“ zu beantworten. Dabei komme ich zu dem Ergebnis, dass die feministisch-materialistische Staatstheorie in weiten Teilen dazu geeignet ist, die Rolle des Staates in dieser Krise zu verstehen. Die Analyse hat jedoch auch einige blinde Flecken dieser Theorie aufgezeigt. Daher zeigt diese Arbeit auf, dass der Staat eine zentrale Rolle in der Krise der sozialen Reproduktion einnimmt, die in weiten Teilen durch die feministisch-materialistische Staatstheorie erklärt werden kann. Dennoch bedarf es in bestimmten Bereichen auch weiterer Theoriebildung, um die Rolle des Staates in der Krise vollständig theoretisch erklären zu können.

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the role of the state in the current crisis of social reproduction. In this process I will analyse if the scientific discourse on the crisis of social reproduction shows understandings of the role of the state in this crisis that show some blind spots of the feminist sate-theory. Therefore, there will be an analysis of the scientific discourse of the crisis of social reproduction in this thesis, to answer the research question “How is the state discussed in the scientific discourse on the crisis of social reproduction? How can this understanding of the state be explained by the feminist-materialistic state-theory?”. I conclude that, in large parts, the feminist-materialistic state-theory is able to explain the role of the state in this crisis. However, the analysis also shows some blind spots of the theory. Therefore, this thesis proofs that the state has a significant role in the crisis of social reproduction that, in large parts can be explained by feminist-materialistic state-theory. In some areas, however, there is further theory-building necessary to be fully able to explain the role of the state in this current crisis.
