Diese Masterarbeit untersucht das Thema „Respekt und Zivilcourage in der Schule „aus islamisch-religionspädagogischer Perspektive. Zunächst werden die Bedeutung von Respekt im Lehrer*in-Schüler*in-Verhältnis und die Auswirkungen von respektvollem sowie respektlosem Verhalten im schulischen Kontext analysiert. Ein besonderer Fokus liegt auf der Zivilcourage, sowohl in allgemein-ethischen als auch in islamischen Kontexten. Es wird die Bedeutung von Werten wie Gerechtigkeit, Mut, Solidarität und Verantwortungsbewusstsein und deren Integration in das gesellschaftliche Zusammenleben thematisiert. Die Arbeit behandelt, wie Zivilcourage im Islam durch Beispiele aus dem Koran und der Sunna begründet wird, um die tiefen Wurzeln von Gerechtigkeit und Zivilcourage im Islam aufzuzeigen. In der Arbeit wird ein Projekt „Stimme erheben, wenn es notwendig ist!“ und ein Unterrichtskonzept zur Förderung von Zivilcourage im islamischen Religionsunterricht (IRU) entwickelt. Ziel ist es, SuS zu verantwortungsbewusstem Handeln und einem respektvollen Miteinander zu erziehen, indem sie die Prinzipien von Respekt und Zivilcourage in ihrem Alltag anwenden. Die Arbeit trägt dazu bei, neue Erkenntnisse für die islamische Religionspädagogik zu gewinnen, praktische Impulse für einen respektvollen und gerechten Umgang in der schulischen Praxis zu geben und zur Entwicklung eines verantwortungsvollen und gerechten Miteinanders sowohl im schulischen als auch im gesellschaftlichen Kontext beizutragen.

This master thesis examines the topic “Respect and Civil Courage in Schools” from an Islamic religious education perspective. Initially, the significance of respect in the teacher-student relationship and the effects of respectful as well as disrespectful behavior in the school context are analyzed. A special focus is placed on civil courage, both in general ethical and Islamic contexts. The importance of values such as justice, courage, solidarity, and sense of responsibility, and their integration into social coexistence are discussed. The thesis analyzes how civil courage in Islam is justified through examples from the Quran and Sunna, aiming to demonstrate the deep roots of justice and civil courage in Islam. The work develops a project “Raise Your Voice When Necessary!” and a teaching concept to promote civil courage in Islamic religious education. The goal is to educate students in responsible action and respectful interaction by applying the principles of respect and civil courage in their daily lives. This ethical virtue can contribute to the development of responsible and inclusive atmosphere. The work contributes to gaining new insights for Islamic religious education, provides practical impulses for respectful and just interactions in school practices, and helps to foster the development of responsible and fair relationships both in the school environment and in the broader societal context.
