Diese Masterarbeit untersucht die symbolische Konstruktion Viktor Orbáns als politische Führungsfigur auf der offiziellen Website des ungarischen Ministerpräsidenten. Anhand multimodaler Analysen von Reden, Artikeln und kuratiertem Bildmaterial wird gezeigt, wie Charisma und politischer Charme strategisch verknüpft werden, um eine kohärente Autoritätserzählung zu schaffen. Gestützt auf Theorien zu Mythos, Multimodalität und politischer Ikonographie beleuchtet die Studie die affektive und symbolische Vermittlung politischer Macht im digitalen Raum.

This thesis examines the symbolic construction of Viktor Orbán’s leadership ideal on Hungary’s official Prime Ministerial website. Through a multimodal analysis of speeches, articles, and curated imagery, it explores how charismatic authority and political charm are strategically combined to produce a compelling leadership myth. Grounded in theories of multimodality, myth, and political iconography, the study highlights how affective resonance and symbolic coherence underpin the digital mediation of power.
