Bei der vorliegenden Masterarbeit handelt es sich um eine vergleichende theoretische Analyse der Theorien russisch – zaristischer, postrevolutionärer Emigranten aus der Anfangsphase der Eurasianismusbewegung der 1920er Jahre mit dem Neoeurasianismus, der eines der alternativen ideologischen Erklärungsmuster für die zukünftige theoriepolitische Ausrichtung innerhalb der postsowjetischen russischen Gesellschaft nach dem Zerfall der Sowjetunion darstellt und zumindest terminologisch an die Vorläuferidee von zu Beginn des Jahrhunderts anknüpft, womit deren Nachfolgerrolle reklamiert wird. Die besagte Analyse wird anhand von Carl Schmitts Großraumtheorie mit Einbeziehung des Nomos-Begriffes, sowie politischer Theologie durchgeführt, wodurch sich auch anhand dessen das Verständnis von Raum, Ordnung und Souveränität in der jeweiligen Ausprägung der russischen Theorie auf ihre ideellen Brüche und Kontinuitäten untersuchen lassen. Abschließend beabsichtigt die vorliegende Arbeit eine Verortung des Neoeurasianismus im aktuellen russischen theoretischen Diskurs.

This master's thesis constitutes a comparative theoretical analysis of the theories of Russian tsarist, post-revolutionary emigrants from the early phase of the Eurasianism movement of the 1920s with Neo-Eurasianism. The latter represents one of the alternative ideological explanatory models for the future theoretical-political orientation within post-Soviet Russian society after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Terminologically, Neo-Eurasianism ties in with the precursor idea from the beginning of the century, thus claiming it for its successor role. The analysis in question is based on Carl Schmitt's Großraum theory, incorporating the concept of Nomos, as well as Political Theology. This approach also allows for an examination of the understanding of space, order, and sovereignty in the respective manifestations of Russian theory in terms of their ideological breaks and continuities. The present paper aims to contextualize Neo-Eurasianism within the current Russian theoretical discourse.
