Abstract
(Deutsch)
Abstract
(Englisch)
This thesis investigates the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and its application to interpolation within the complex plane. In addition to presenting the theoretical foundations, a GeoGebra workflow is developed to interpolate arbitrary sets of points using epicyclic trajectories. Furthermore, an upper bound for the approximation error between the interpolated curve and the original set of points is mathematically derived. By sorting the Fourier modes by their magnitude and truncating the smallest coefficients, approaches for data compression and curve approximation are demonstrated. Ultimately, this work connects sound mathematical theory with dynamic visualization.
