Abstract
(Deutsch)
Abstract
(Englisch)
The Levene model is the simplest mathematical model to describe the evolution of gene frequencies in spatially subdivided populations. We extend the Levene model to spatially structured games and show, that for the case of two strategies this qualitatively makes no generalization. In doing so we answer the open question for the maximum possible number of equilibria in the diallelic Levene model. Subsequently we ascertain that for more than two strategies present our extension of the Levene model offers more dynamical possibilities than its archetype. In particular we can exclude the existence of a strict Ljapunov function.
